Crux Compatible (“Crux” for short) is a new matchmaking service in Austin, TX. My name is Danny Goldstein, and I’m the matchmaker behind Crux. I use attachment style, core values, and more to match people for long-term relationships.
Rather than wasting time and energy swiping through profiles, you will fill out Crux’s compatibility questionnaire (it takes about 30 minutes) so I can learn more about you. When I find a match for you, I will send you an e-mail with a picture and short description of your match. If you are interested in going on a date with them (and vice versa), I’ll set up the date for you. After the date, you will each fill out Crux’s post-date questionnaire to let me know how things went. I use responses to the post-date questionnaire to tailor matches for you in the future.

Where to begin…for starters:
I only match people with one person at a time. Research on dating shows that as a result of too many options, we suffer from analysis paralysis (we have difficulty choosing among good options), and when we find someone we’re interested in we tend to remain on the lookout for someone better instead of committing.
I am passionate about this project, and I don’t want cost to dissuade anyone from joining. Eventually I’ll figure out the revenue piece, but regardless I am committed to making matchmaking available to everyone (other matchmakers charge thousands of dollars).
